HAN JOO-CHAN
→Full Name: Han Joo-Chan
→Nicknames: Kyung-Soon, Cho Song, Bo-Bae, Ha-Nuel, Jin-Ho, Joo-Eun, but simply prefers Song, as that has popped up quite a bit in his past names.
→Nation: North Korea
→Gender: Male
→Age: Seventeen years old
→Applicable Age: Fifteen years old
→Physical Description: Song stands at 5'5.5", which makes him appear younger than he actually is, something which the reincarnate uses to his advantage. He has dark brown-black hair, almost always pulled back into a braid, as well as a rather odd curl that sticks out on his left, which he cannot pull back into his hair, no matter how hard he tries. His eyes almost match in color with his hair, just a few shades lighter, and his skin is pale, but not overly so. Song is more delicately built, something more he utilizes to his advantage, and he has a lithe body frame, very suitable for both Martial Arts and dancing.
→Distinguishing Features: Song does not really have distinguishing features, aside from the fact that he is Asian, which doesn't really garner too many looks in their town, but if anything, it would be the fact that he has long hair. It is very common for men in America, at this time period, to have short hair, and the only reason most would grow it out is because they can't get it cut. As such, the fact that his hair is obviously willingly grown out, and paid much attention, would garner him quite a few looks.
"We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams."
→Personality: Song has many layers of complexity, most of which fellow reincarnates will never know. On the outside, he is an introverted person, preferring to spend his days inside, away from people, rather than interact with others. While that is mostly true, he does enjoy spending time with other people, just too many make him feel overwhelmed, and the reincarnate prefers the quiet. He also is shy, a tad too timid to go up and have a conversation with people, preferring to let them approach him. Song is very good at hiding his feelings, as well, usually under a mask of a different emotion, rather than just erasing them, altogether.
He is a person that loves family, always considering them the most important thing, whether they be his current human family, or the reincarnates that he thinks of as such. Song is also a tad cynical and snarky, though he tends to keep that in himself, never saying it out loud unless he is with those he completely trusts. A hard worker, the reincarnate is very good at dedicating himself to something, working into the night and without food, if he needs to, as he considers emotional and mental aspects far above physical. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t take care of his body, though, as he needs a good one for dancing and martial arts. Over all, Song is a timid person, who tends to keep everything inside, and usually keeps himself away from people.

→Fears:
- Death - While this may seem like a normal fear, remember that Song knows he will be reincarnated, yet he is terrified of it, each time it comes. He will lose anyone that is not one of the reincarnates, and will not remember who he is for a short time, which he absolutely hates.
- Being Alone - He's scared that if he is reincarnated by himself, he won't be able to find his fellow reincarnates, and be stuck all alone for the remainder of that life. As well, he also fears that he will do something that will irrevocably push away the other reincarnates, and will be left alone for the rest of eternity.
→Aspirations:
- He wants to find out the reason behind the reincarnations, hoping that more knowledge will help them use it better. Considering the fact that he has many other people he knows and some-what trusts that cycle as well, Song doesn't wish to stop it, but maybe control it, so that they end up around each other, related, or reincarnate at the same time.
- Song wants to find a lover among the reincarnates. While he has had some in the past, they were mostly with normal humans, and if it was with a reincarnate, it was a quick, one-life fling, if anything. He wants a permanent one, that will stretch across the lives, because, even if it would be quite difficult to maintain, Song believes that it would be worth it.
→Lesser Known Facts:
- As a defense, whenever Song runs into a fellow reincarnate for the first time in that current life, he pretends to have not regained his memories yet (unless he's old enough to have had to).
- Song can sing, really really well, but he sounds like a girl.
- He adores those Mickey Mouse shorts made by Disney.
- The British reincarnate's cooking is edible, at least in dire straits, to him.
- Song cannot draw. At all.
- He loves cute animals, but will not admit it to anyone he's not super close to. Ever.
"We all grow up with the weight of history on us. Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies."
→Current Family: Chin Gi, father. Dae Min, mother. Ho Shin, older brother. Kyon Soo, little sister.
→Past Family: Related to most of the Asians, at one point or another. If you want specifics, to be an 'adopted' family member (i.e. like, England and him being bros, even if that isn't possible with genetics~), or to not be a member, send me a PM, mkay?
→Current History: Born to Chin Gi and Dae Min on August 19, 1916, Joo-Chan grew up a happy child, obsessed with dancing, but adoring his older brother, wanting to be just like him. When his younger sister was born, he turned into a doting older brother, watching and loving her every move. He was a highly intelligent young man, with knowledge that surprised everyone, including his parents, as they didn’t know where he learned it. Despite the fact that he never went to school, he must have taught himself out to read, his parents thought, as he devoured whatever books he could get his hands on, devoting his time to that, second only to dancing.
However, when he was twelve, Chin Gi was killed when an out of control automobile hit him. The family was left devastated, Dae Min just a shell of her former, happy self, and Joo-Chan’s older brother, Ho Shin, stepped up to the plate at the age of fifteen, gaining a job and supporting the family. A year later, when the Great Depression hit, Dae Min and Kyon Soo were sent out to live with better off relatives, while Joo-Chan and Ho Shin stayed, earning money to send back to them.
Of course, two years after that, Joo-Chan turned fifteen, regaining his memories, and retreating a tad into himself. Ho Shin wondered at his brother’s change in personality, but as the younger sibling was just as amiable as before, towards him, did not question it too much, much to Song’s relief, who was a bit distraught to find himself in the midst of a very poverty rich period of time. Deciding to put off searching for other reincarnates, at least until this Depression had passed them by, Song threw himself into helping his ‘family’, causing his brother much concern, especially with the request to call him “Song”, and finding Ho Shin a human that he would truly miss, come his next life.

"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music."
→Roleplay Sample: Sisia had gotten a bit lost; having gone to get a drink, as her throat was bothering her, and her new teacher let her out, spotting her MedicAlert necklace and thinking it was something along those lines, the girl had managed to succeed in having absolutely no idea where she was. Of course, she didn't have her drink, not able to find it, and there was a tightness in her throat, that seemed to be spreading to her chest. Oh crap, no, not now, not now. Recognizing the symptoms of an attack, Sisia fumbled for her autoinjector, in her pocket, but as her breath seemed to be caught away right then (of course, as her attacks gave her like five seconds of warning if that much), it merely fell to the floor.
Air barely entering her lungs, the girl wheezed, hating the familiar sound, as she crumbled down to the floor, scrabbling fruitlessly to get a hold on her injector. Almost letting out a sob of frustration, which wouldn't have come out, anyway, she clutched her other hand to her chest, as if trying to stop the painful tightness that was beginning to squeeze there. It felt like her lungs were caving in on themselves, which such a lack of air filling them, as Sisia attempted to wheeze it into them, still desperately trying to grab hold of her injector, just a few inches too far away.
Black pounded at her head and eyes, the lack of oxygen threatening to send her under, which would surely prove fatal, at this point. Doubling over in an attempt to force herself to stay awake, and to thus stay alive, Sisia kept one arm outstretched at the small device that could save her, trying to pull herself over and closer. Her MedicAlert necklace dangled in front of her eyes, and she concentrated on that, continually wheezing as she tried to suck in the air that she so wanted, and so desperately needed.
Why, why, why? She wanted her Uncle so badly, he could help... The tip of her finger touched the injector, and Sisia fruitlessly tried to grab it, tried to pull it back towards her, but she was still too far away. The black was spreading, her head was pounding, a few tears leaked from her eyes at the tightness of her chest, and her wheezing began to grow weaker. Dang it...
