Antonio Carriedo
→Full Name: Antonio Fernandez Carriedo
→Nicknames: Toni, Tonio
Past Names: Antonio Hernandez Alejandro García Juan López Manuel Gonzalez
→Nation: The Kingdom of Spain
→Gender: Male
→Age: Twenty three
→Applicable Age: Twenty Five
→Physical Description: Antonio can be descried as a handsome man. His hair is like brown feathers that hang low by his ears, yet seem to have a slight curl to them. Antonio's bright olive green eyes, that seem to always be flashing in excitement. His tanned body is well toned, however, he doesn't seem to play it off like he's muscular. He always has a smile on his face, even if he doesn't have a reason.
Antonio is typically seen with a simple button down shirt with rolled up sleeves and pants. Often times, his pants are covered in dirt since he doesn't have the time to wash them. Even though the weather is different than that of Spain's, Antonio occasionally wears thin clothing or sometimes even no shirt at all, mainly due to habit.
→Distinguishing Features: Antonio, being modest as he is, believes he has no distinguishing features to account for. However, most people beg to differ when they see his olive green eyes. Since his skin is a tanned color, the green stands out even more than it would if he were fair skinned.
"We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have."
→Personality: Antonio Fernandez Carriedo is a passionate man. With anything he does, Antonio puts his whole heart into whatever the task may be. Antonio is just a very cheerful man and when he becomes friends with someone, which does not take too long, they realize that he is bursting at the seams with optimism. Despite all the optimism and happiness, Antonio lacks the ability to read the atmosphere. One can find him saying something spontaneous or not even paying attention in a conversation.
Often times, others believe that the phrase, "Service with a smile", comes to mind when they see Antonio working whatever job he can find. The Spaniard doesn't mind working that much, it's when he bottles his negative emotions up that he puts on a fake smile. Truthfully, no one can be happy all the time; they just know how to hide their sadness very well. Antonio sees negative emotions as just something to hold him back. So, the fake smile is put on whenever he feels the least bit sad. One thing he's noticed though, is that smiling actually can improve someone's mood greatly.
Antonio has the habit of making friends where ever he seems to go. These friends, as well as his family, are extremely important to him. But out of all these friends, he does seem to have his favorites, and seems to let them know of their position with his level of affection towards them. By letting them know, that usually means hugging them nonstop or kissing them on the cheek.
He often flirts with people, unknowingly; he thinks it's just being friendly. Still, this does not take away from the fact that he seeks one to love with his whole heart. Even in these rough times, he still believes he will find his soul mate and settle down.

- Children- Antonio thinks children are just plain adorable. Their never ending curiosity intrigues the Spaniard.

- Cold Weather- Since he grew up in such a nice climate, Antonio is not really a fan of the cold weather.
- English Food- According to the Spaniard, English food is extremely bland and has no taste. So, he tries his best to avoid these certain foods.
- Losing Friends or Loved Ones- A big part of Antonio's life is his friends and family. If he were to lose anyone, he wouldn't know what to do.
→Fears: - Forever Alone- For a people-loving Spaniard, the idea of being forever alone haunts him. The idea of never finding anyone to share his life with just scares him.
- Changing His Lifestyle- In Spain, life is very easy going; there is no rush to get things done, thus, Antonio is very used to this sort of lifestyle. The depression has not very been treating Canada very nicely, so Antonio is having a hard time providing food for himself. Antonio does not want to have to change his way of life to revolve around the depression, but it's getting to the point where he's going to have to.
→Aspirations:
- Find Love- Everyone has a soul mate, yet Antonio hasn't found his. He wishes to find that one person he can spend his life with and start a family with them.
- Find a Permanent Job- The job market has been torn apart by the depression and it's hard for anyone to even find a job. However, being the optimist he is, Antonio wants to find a job he can work at permanently. Well, maybe not for the rest of his life, but at least with the guarantee that he won't be laid off the next day.

- José Carriedo (father)
- María Fernandez Carriedo (mother; deceased)
- David Carriedo (younger)
- Pilar Carriedo (younger)
- Carmen Carriedo (younger, deceased)
- Francisco Carriedo (younger)
→Past Family: (Eh, perhaps the Italies when they arrive?)
→Current History: On <arch 10th, 1910, newlywed, María Carriedo gave birth to her first son, Antonio in Madrid, Spain. Since the Carriedos were newlyweds, they had little money for anything at all, so they kept to a tight budget. A very young Antonio didn't seem to mind living a life of poverty; he was content to helping his father work in the tomato fields. Well, in reality he was the one actually eating the tomatoes, but that's besides the point.
At the age of five, Antonio's first sibling, David, was born. During this time, however, World War one was taking place. Spain declared neutrality, but was still involved by supplying goods to the Allies, as well as South America. So, the economy greatly improved, which improved life for the Carriedo family too.
Two years later, Antonio's mother would give birth to twins, Pilar and Carmen. By this time, Antonio is at the age of seven, where curiosity fills his everyday life.
In the next year, the last child of the Carriedo family is born. The newborn boy was given the name Francisco, which was chosen by Antonio.
Days started to blend together as Antonio spent time with his siblings. Their days were filled with childish adventures and games. Antonio grew rather close with each of his siblings. However, in the year 1922, Carmen died from tuberculosis. The whole family was devastated, but it seemed to hit María the hardest. On top of the death of Carmen, an economic crisis was occupying in Spain. The Carriedo family was affected, but not as bad as others during this time, for José had saved money during the time Spain was prospering.
Seeing that the economic crisis was bringing the country to the brink of civil war, José decided to do what so many others Europeans did: take the family to America. So in 1924, the Carriedos boarded a ship set out to New York harbor. María died on the voyage to America, more from the loss of her child than anything. The second death hit the family harder than the first, but this time, Antonio was the one who was most devastated.
The family arrived in New York, went through Ellis Island, and found a small little apartment room to rent for the time being. José was surprised to have found somewhere to live, but was even more surprised to see how the Great Depression hit America. Money began to run out as José wasn't able to find a job. Antonio went out to look for a job himself, well aware that no one would want to hire a fourteen year old, but his optimism drove him to search everyday.
At the age of sixteen, Antonio left home in search of work. He planned to find work, take only a small portion of the payment and then send the rest to his family. For the next four years, this went on as Antonio traveled around America.
Antonio hadn't heard much of how the Canadian economy was doing, nor was he very interested for the longest time, but he decided to take a trip to Canada. He found himself in the town of Genova, Canada. To him, the town was a little peculiar since it was pretty much cut off from everything. However, a sense of nostalgia filled him when he realized the town was self-sustaining. His mind trailed back to his days in Spain, where his father would work at the fields. Antonio decided to stay in the little town bouncing from one odd job to another when he could find one, hoping his life would actually begin there.
Although his past lives regained their memories, Antonio has yet to.

→Roleplay Sample:
Antonio leaned on the railing of the ship, letting the wisps of the ocean water gently kiss his tanned face. His green eyes shifted from left to right as he took in the view of the ocean. The sun's rays danced along the ocean waves causing the murky blue-green water to have some shimmer to it. Antonio leaned over the railing, smiling, as he took in the scenery. "Es hermoso!" The Spanish boy stopped smiling for a second and slightly furrowed his brow. He needed to start speaking English if he were to assimilate into America.
Antonio had some lessons of English when he lived in Madrid. However, most people in Spain were content to speaking Spanish, or rather, their dialect of Spanish. Quite honestly, Antonio had never really paid much attention to those English lessons, for his beliefs were the same as everyone else's. Even still, he managed to pick up a few words here and there. Antonio had also heard that you learn more when you sleep, so maybe this would be one of those times where the mid-lesson siesta helped him retain bits and pieces of the English language.
The Spaniard sighed softly when his mind drifted towards something else. He leaned his chin on the railing and closed his eyes. His mind had drifted towards his dear mother, who was in some part of the ship in almost a vegetable state due to the death of his sister, Carmen. Truthfully, Antonio had been trying to avoid seeing his mother, for he knew even the slightest glimpse of her would break his heart. He furrowed his brow yet again as he searched his mind for happy thoughts.
Antonio opened his eyes and olive eyes met the ocean once again. He took in the salty air and slowly let it out. "It's gorgeous", he said with a Spanish accent.
